ハイディティールな仕上がりであり、そのままでも満足度高めなジャガーノート(遠距離砲撃仕様)
しかし、その長ぁい長距離滑空砲は合わせ目がシンプルに発生。
付属品であるM101-バーレットの肉抜きの穴埋めと一緒に、合わせ目も消していきましょう！
肉抜きの穴埋めに使うモノ
- UVレジン
- UV-LEDライト
- ランナーの端材
- 金属ヤスリ
- 紙ヤスリ
- ランナーの端材
UVレジン、UV-LEDライトは100均のセリアで購入したモノを使用。
UVレジンの節約に、ランナーをカットしたモノ……
ランナーの端材を用いておおざっぱな穴埋めを行います。
UVレジンを流し込んでUV-LEDライトで硬化させたら……
硬めの素材なので、金属ヤスリを用いてゴリゴリ削り、紙ヤスリで整える。
UVレジンを使うメリット
穴埋めから硬化まで、1層ごとに長めに考えて約10分。
M101-バーレットの穴は深めなので、3層ほどに分けて硬化させるとして約30分。
その後の調整に時間がかかりましたが、記事の状態になるまで約2時間ほどで達しています。
盛り付けに適したパテの一つであるエポキシパテ。
硬化までの時間はメーカーによって差があるものの、〇時間単位での作業。
メリットだけではございませんが、「待ち時間が比較的に短い」ことに関してはUVレジンに軍配が上がります。
UVレジンのデメリット
最小限に抑えるなどの工夫は可能なものの、気泡は発生します。
本塗装に入る前にサーフェイサーを吹くなどを行い面の確認を行うことが必要です。
硬化したUVレジンは硬いので、金属ヤスリでの削りこみをオススメ。
おおざっぱに金属ヤスリで削り、紙ヤスリで整える。
というワークフローを提案いたします。
UVレジンを削り、イイ感じ……
と思ってもサーフェイサーなどでグレーに塗装し確認しやすい色にすると……
ということは、ありえます。
しつこいですが、本塗装の前のチェックは念入りに。
合わせ目消しに用いるモノ
- タミヤ瞬間接着剤（イージーサンディング）
- 金属ヤスリ
- 紙ヤスリ
イージーサンディングの名の通り、削りやすい瞬間接着剤を合わせ目消しに使用。
モノによっては削るときに固まりではがれてしまうこともあります。
しかしイージーサンディングは絶妙な硬度で削りやすい瞬間接着剤。
などの幅広い用途に使用が可能です。
盛り付けた瞬間接着剤のおおざっぱな整形に金属ヤスリ。
または120番、もしくは240番程度のヤスリでも可。
そして紙ヤスリで好みの滑らかさまで整えて……
やはり、念のためのサーフェイサー。
本塗装の前の確認は怠らず行きましょう。
肉抜きの穴埋め&合わせ目消しのフィニッシュ
なんやかんやで終わりました！
削ってからのチェックで一発オーケー……
なんてものはなく、そこからの2回ほど削り～のチェック～の。
完璧ではないものの、目指す質感的にはオーケー。
次へGO。

ジャガーノート(遠距離砲撃仕様)の加工も終わり、塗装へ足を踏み入れる。
楽しくも難しい時間の始まりですな。
